Step Away 2020 is a virtual online event where we explore the creative process with live discussions and collaboration, self-study on a variety of topics around Design Thinking, Game Thinking and Visual Thinking, and time between session for creative assignments.
You will earn a really cool Step Away Certification, too!

2021
Step Away 2021 is a 3-day event in an ideal atmosphere to unplug from the daily noise and be immersed in solving learning problems and business solutions through creativity and play. We designed this unique week-long event over the past year and we are very excited to bring it to life!
Along with living in a very cool game house resort where we will learn and play all week. The more we play, the more we learn!

What we have planned
There are several creative learning activities planned and our hope is you Step Away from this event with a new perspective on linking creativity with performance. Here are a few big ideas planned:

Yes, Step Away is an all inclusive event!
All meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and daily snacks provided. You will also receive an amazing goodie bag gift full of tools, widgets and other fun stuff to show off to all your peers that you attended the inaugural Step Away event! To cap the week off, a big ole whopping capstone blowout themed dinner on the last night!
Do you want to stay in the XBox Video Game room with your own bedside gaming console and TV? How about the Laser Game room where you avoid getting zapped to climb into bed? Maybe you like an escape room in Stratego or Risk? Or maybe you're a high roller and prefer the Vegas Suite?
Hurry though...there are only 11 rooms on a first-come/first-serve basis!
How it works:
Registration is $2,500.00
Room accommodations will be first-come/first-serve and they vary by size (king, queen, 2 twins, 4 twins, or 6 twins), and rates range from $860-$660/per room for the week ($265-165/night).
The rooms vary by King or Queen beds (sleeps 1 or 2), or rooms with twin beds (2, 4 or 6). A a single room rate covers everyone who stays in that room and each attendee registers for Step Away separately.
